The aim of this site is to share my adventures with you by describing and illustrating my random travels and outings. ‘Travel’ posts include extended trips in Australia and overseas. ‘Outings’ posts relate to short, usually one day, excursions that feature bushwalks and visits to key locations.

In naming the site Travelsnaps, I was keen to portray photographs as being inextricably linked to my activities (although I hope that these are more deliberate and interesting than mere ‘snaps’).
